Magik Plants is a plant breeding company that offers a selected range of Australian Native Plants to licensed production nurseries.

Magik Plants Pty Ltd manages the marketing brand Bush Magik Australian Natives which is operated by Ian, James Shimmen and Lynette Macartney.

Ian has extensive knowledge in Australian Native plants and previously owned and successfully operated Bushland Flora for 30 years. In early 2020 Ian and Lynette sold Bushland Flora, and now Ian and his son James concentrate their time on breeding and selecting new forms of Australian Native plants.

The Bush Magik range has a variety to choose from of Australian Native plants, which include PBR and Trade Marked plant varieties of Tufts, Grasses, Ground covers, Shrubs, and Trees. These great Australian Natives have been successfully used in small to large landscape projects, and are proven for being tough, low-water, little maintenance, and having horticultural appeal for the home gardener and the plant industry.

All plants from the Magik Plants company provide habit for fauna, and offer the added bonus of prolific flowering forms, which brighten up the landscape by bringing in birds, native insects & bees, into your garden.

Magik Plants also includes a number of independent plant breeders of Australian native plant varieties, and is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley 45klms from Melbourne's CBD.
